This year we only wanted to plant the so-called „snake cucumbers“. As is the case every year, we weren’t hoping for a big harvest. To our great surprise, we have been disappointed so far – lots of cucumbers. And they live up to their name… they snake between the leaves and twist in all sorts of curves in the trellis.
To our delight, the EU standard is clearly not being met here – our garden is becoming a revolutionary area against bureaucratic regulations!
