What is still blooming now, at the end of October…or already…or again?

The monkshood, which usually starts blooming around this time, bloomed in September this year, as already reported. We are excited to see how long it lasts.
The zinnias and cosmos are also real perpetual bloomers. The small white azalea, the sedum and the evening primroses follow suit.
We were very surprised when the Mauritanian mallow, the catnip, hemerocalis and feverfew bloomed again.

New to the flower parade are the chrysanthemums, heather and – also too early: the first Christmas roses!
The cover photo shows a late bumblebee in the monkshood.
