This December is starting out pretty frosty. The garden has had no cold at all – only a few blackbirds and tits are out looking for food.
The weather is usually hazy and unpleasant – but this morning… sun! and after a frosty night everything was covered in sugar.
The roses in particular, many of which had late buds, were covered in glittering ice crystals.
