January Rose

On January 3rd, the weather was sunny and we were finally able to prepare the garden for spring. There is still a lot to do – trees and shrubs need to be trimmed. Many perennials that we leave standing because of the seeds for the birds also need to be removed.
And some roses need to be trimmed so that they can grow nice and bushy.
And the rose next to the workshop surprised us – it had formed a beautiful bud despite the frost, rain and snow!
Now it has a warm home in the living room and is a delight to us.
