It is persistently sunny, but the nights are still frosty.
Everything is moving towards spring, something new blooms every day!
The winter jasmine, previously in deep hibernation, is now awakening, and next to it, the winter blossoms are blooming for the first time since 2021! We almost missed the delicate yellow blossoms. The first liverworts are still nestling inconspicuously among the foliage, and the snowdrops have multiplied beautifully.
The Hellebores are showing their splendor, finally the winter viburnum, and the columbines and the Persian crown imperial are already growing tall.
We see the thick buds of some daffodils and the mahonia, lots of crocuses in all colors, the first violets, forsythias and… THE FIRST TULIP – which now heralds the arrival of spring!!!
We watch the daylilies grow and we are happy to see the delicate violet of the buds of the alpine azalea!
