Conservatory

It’s winter outside – inside it’s a conservatory!

While it’s freezing outside, the conservatory is blooming and green.

The orchid lily steals the show with its beautiful, orchid-like flowers. We’re delighted that the small camellia we bought last year is developing well and keeps producing new buds. Our new acquisition is a kumquat tree with many almost ripe fruits that we love to eat. The poinsettia is showing new red leaves, and all the belladonna bulbs we brought back from Santa Maria at the beginning of December are sprouting long leaves. As soon as it stays warm outside, we’ll move them outdoors in larger pots.
